Since the lockdown began, the members of our FoCS Vixen Crochet Group have been hard at work crocheting useful things like ear savers for nurses and blankets.  We have now started crocheting forget-me-nots for a display that will be errected outside Cannock Stadium gates.

In loving memory of Staffordshire residents who have lost their lives to Covid-19, we are inviting friends and relatives to show their love and respect, and nominate a hand crocheted forget-me-not, that will be displayed on the main gates of Cannock Stadium Park as a memorial. In these times when friends and family are unable to attend funerals we came up with this idea so loved ones are able to mark the passing of their nearest and dearest.  This is free to do. If you would like to nominate a forget-me-not, please send us a private message with the persons name and the date they passed and we will display these details with each flower.  We are thinking of you all at this sad time
