The group was set up in May 2018 by a couple of friends who wanted to make a difference to the local community. Friends of Cannock Stadium Park (FoCS) was born!

FoCS is only in its infancy stages but we are making large strides towards our goals.  We are community volunteers working with Cannock Chase District Council to promote and support the regeneration of Cannock Stadium and its future.
 

The objectives of Friends of Cannock Stadium are:

1. To conserve, enhance and promote the park area for the benefit of people, community and wildlife.

2. To promote and encourage the local community to take an interest in the protection, upkeep and enjoyment of the park.

3. To work with Cannock Chase District Council and all other relevant organisations to help in achieving the aims in 1. and 2.

4. To actively involve the children and young people of the local communities through working with the local schools and youth organisations in the development of Cannock Stadium Park.

5.  To tackle various issues at Cannock Stadium Park, like anti-social behaviour and littering.

6.  To make friends with people and enjoy volunteering whilst making a positive, proactive and productive contribution to the local community.
